Nick and I have tried to become extremely involved with certain social issues, one specifically is helping refugees.  We are fortunate to have a chapter the International Rescue Committee here in Charlottesville!  We've attended a few events and have been extremely impressed with their work and dedication to their mission of helping refugees.  We were invited to the premiere of The Zoo Keepers Wife at the Byrd Theatre in Richmond.  First of all, we love Richmond, secondly, I absolutely LOVE seeing movies at the Byrd but best of all, this event brought some incredible speakers as well as the movie showing an incredible story.  When it finally comes out, I highly recommend seeing it.  Bring some tissues, I was on quite the emotional roller coaster.
