Here is a laid back look Nick wore over the weekend (along with that stubble lol)  Nick owns these pants in about eight different colors.  I am pretty jealous, they are CRAZY soft and can be casual or business casual.  Nick wears them both to work as well as on the weekends because they are more comfy than jeans.
That awesome Fossil bag is perfect for work for Nick.  He really liked that it didn't look like a purse but still has enough room to fit his ipad, small laptop and a few notebooks.

This is one of my favorite casual outfits, especially when we are travelling.  I have worn this dress on many of our vacations and its extremely versitile.  I love to style it with a panama hat or a denim jacket for casual.  Go snag yourself a denim jacket for $30 at Target!  You will get your wear out of it.  Also, I am LOVING these tassel earrings.  They are definitely not something I would normally go for, I tend to be pretty conservative and classic with my jewelry but so glad I took the leap and tried these, they add a great statement.

I normally wear heels, some kind of silky blouse and skinny jeans but some days I just need to give my calves a break and throw on some flat shoes.  I scored this flannel at the J crew warehouse sale a few months ago and paired it with some comfy sandals for the weekend. 

Also, if you are trying to stop drinking pop and you don't drink coffee, you need to go try Bai drinks.  They have 70 mg of caffeine but is made of juice, white tea extract and water.  DELISH and it gets me through the day with that added caffeine.

My favorite is the blueberry and Nick's is the coconut.

This is a normal "office" look for me.  I snagged the skirt and blouse during some online sales that were going on earlier this month.  The skirt is SUPER stretchy and comfortable.

I have a stand up desk at work so I really like having shoes without straps so I can toss them off and stand at my desk flat-footed so these mules are perfect.  I have found myself grabbing them for ankle pants and skirts.

Like I said yesterday, this place is a favorite of mine and deserves two posts.  We had lunch with a few friends and I was sufficiently stuffed, but I made some room for this ice cream.  

So, if you are thinking: "Uhm, Katie, chocolate ice cream and white pants- you cray."  Well, judge me not cause these babies are water and stain resistant. I put them to the test.  I was doing my makeup in the car and got bronzer and eye shadow all over them.  I just grabbed a wet paper towel and wiped it off, you couldn't see a thing.

Weekend in Mayberry- Scoops Ice Cream

             

One of my favorite places to go when we visit Nick's family is Scoops Ice Cream. It's an old VW van converted into an ice cream DREAM.  We are talking huge scoops, great prices and the cutest atmosphere I ever did see.

 We always stop at least once per trip.  My flavor this go-round, Peanut Butter Cup (chocolate ice cream with HUGE swirls of peanut butter, in a waffle cone obvs).
