Last weekend was a little bit chilly so I broke out this sweater one last time.   This is one of my favorite shades of pink, it was the shad I chose for our wedding.  

Nick spotted this wall on his way home from work one day and he was so excited to show it to me because he knew it was a perfect blogger wall.  I must agree.

I am also LOVING these shoes.  I got them at the latest J crew warehouse sale and have worn them a ton to work.  We did some major shopping while I was wearing this (looking at appliances in Home Depot) and I will say... it wasn't the best choice but at least I looked super cute!

We think we have our appliances nailed down and we plan to take full advantage of the Memorial Day sales that are coming up.

Honestly, I love to have a nice long run on the weekends.  I have finally been able to convince Nick to come with me.  We have really gorgeous trails that aren't insanely hilly (but hilly nonetheless).  I really love being able to enjoy being outside and getting some vitamin D, while burning off the pizza I usually ate the night before.

I love the back of this tank and the fact I don't have to wear a sports bra with it!  It is super flowy so I stay fairly cool as I run.  Not going to lie, I have gotten some pretty funny tan lines when I have worn this on my long run days, worth it!

Guys, it has been found.  The YUMMIEST pies in all the land are right here in Charlottesville!  This little gem serves up the best chocolate pie I've ever tasted.

We stopped by and grabbed a few slices... or five and enjoyed them on the porch of our new house with Nick's parents.

Basically, I want to go every weekend.  It is the cutest little store, with unlimited free samples- Heaven on Earth

Guys, the bell sleeve craze, I AM LOVING IT.  I didn't think I would love 70's vibes, nor did I think I could pull it off, but I can't stop wearing this blouse. It is perfect for dressing up jeans or even trousers for work.  

I loved it with this long necklace, but it would look great with a multi-layer necklace.

April showers bring May showers... 

The rain just keeps on coming. I will say, everything is beautiful and green but I have had to make some shoe changes in the mornings so I am not a soggy mess when I get to work.  

Two years ago, for my birthday, I REALLY wanted Hunter Boots.  I had y eye on these for about a month.  Long story short, I called a local store to make sure they had my size.  They had one left and asked if I wanted to put it on hold. I said sure, that sounds great.  I went to pick up the boots and they told me that about 10 minutes after I called, a woman came in and wanted to buy them and was throwing a fit that I had them on hold.

It was a Birthday miracle because I was having a pretty rough day that day so it was a great ending to the day.  

I bought the fleece inserts for them and they are REALLY cozy for walking in the snow.  I loved wearing these with casual dresses and can't wait to wear them with some cute jean shorts when it warms up a bit.

This is a great spring work outfit.  These pants are SUPER comfortable and give a lot of stretch in all the right places.  I paired it with a really light-weight sweater.  I tend to get cold in offices so I almost always wear long sleeves.  This is the perfect weight for warm weather and chilly offices.  

Don't be afraid to wear bright pants!  I get compliments on these all the time.  J Crew has a ton of colors so go make some Spring and Summer shopping carts.
